Compassionate Mental Health Support
Compassionate Mental Health Support

Hi, I’m Krista Bankes, a Licensed Professional Counselor passionate about supporting children ages 8 and up, teens, and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and personal growth. I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, emotional concerns, and personal growth in a supportive and compassionate environment. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Clinical Counseling from Colorado Christian University and am an active member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. I am also nationally certified through the National Board for Certified Counselors. I practice under the clinical supervision of April Young, LPCC-S, MFT.
Whether you are seeking support through life transitions, emotional healing, relationship challenges, or greater self-understanding, my goal is to walk alongside you with care, insight, and professionalism. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-based therapy that integrates Christian principles to support those seeking a closer relationship with Christ.

A free counseling consultation is an initial meeting designed to help you learn more about the counseling process and determine if it is a good fit for your needs. During this session, we will briefly discuss your concerns, goals, and expectations, answer any questions you may have, and explore how counseling can support you. There is no obligation to continue services.

Mental health counseling services provide compassionate, professional counseling to individuals, families, and children, focusing on healing, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth.
For those who desire it, I integrate Christian faith into therapy, using prayer, Scripture, and biblical principles alongside evidence-based practices. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being are honored, helping clients heal, grow, and thrive.

Relationship Counseling provides individuals and relational pairs with a supportive space to strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and grow in emotional connection. Services support premarital, marital, dating, child-parent, friendship, and family relationships.
Relationship Counseling can also incorporate a Christian approach, integrating biblical principles, prayer, and faith-based guidance to support healthy, Christ-centered relationships.
